rhuToday is the fiftieth anniversary of the Broadway premiere of The Music Man, and way back in February I took a stab at constructing a tribute puzzle. Failed miserably. But I was hoping someone else would succeed.
I'll find it where I can get it: today's Times puzzle has, at 36A+23A, "The Last Days of Pompeii" which is, of course, the title of the fireworks display at the Fourth of July celebration.
