Panda meta
Sep. 2nd, 2009 01:40 pmSo here's where I am on the Panda meta. Mostly, I'm posting this for Foggy's benefit :-)
So there are 13 answers (and I have 10 of them, having not finished Authors, Matrimony, and Spades) and 15 rounds in Progressive Rummy according to the website that Shifty references in the intro text. I haven't found a decent mapping between letters in my answers and the sets/runs of the Progressive Rummy rounds. So I'm thinking that's a red herring, although Foggy planted it pretty prominently.
I don't see a connection between the answers and the titles. Sure, there's some near-overlap in a few cases (War and Cribbage, most noticeably) but not enough to give me an idea of what to do next.
All the answers I have so far are either two-word phrases or compound words, but nothing jumps out at me when I break them down into two columns.
"Shifty" as a character name makes we want to try Caesar shifting stuff, but again I don't have more than a general sense that that would be unsurprising if it turns out to be involved.
So that's where I am.
