Tishre is over, la la la
Oct. 18th, 2009 08:58 pmI've been spending the last week or so coming up for air and returning to my normally overscheduled madness. So here's a status update on my various things:
• We're almost ready to start taking orders for the Sevendeck. (That's the deck of cards that
rikchik and I have been working on; there are several games that you can play with it.) I've started to make the website real -- for example, there are now rules for three games.
• I'm almost ready to order the galley proofs of my siddur. I spent most of today knocking off items on my punch list; what remains is to finalize the cover (here's a mockup of what it'll look like, I think. Feedback welcome!) and then place the order for the galleys. I'm hoping to have proofing done by Dec/Jan and to start taking orders around early December for delivery around March.
•
introverte and I have done a pass through the house, re-organizing and streamlining. It's amazing what a difference single-stream recycling is making in our lives!
• My musical side has been sadly neglected. But I plan to do another push on Kabbalat Shabbat once the siddur proofs are at the printers.
• External obligations: I've been working on collecting data for the overhaul of the MIT Hillel website; I've been participating in the committee that's organizing the party to celebrate the Zamir Chorale's fortieth anniversary; I've been doing various things for the shul.
• Things I'm still behind on: Catching up on the stock market. Writing more puzzles. Reading.
