rhuThis morning's "journal page" in Tani's class was "My favorite holiday." He immediately wrote "CHONOOCO" (for Chanukah) and started drawing a tree.
A tree?
I just sat there, waiting.
Then he drew a person in the top of the tree, with a shield and a bow and arrow, and I breathed a sigh of relief. "That's a Maccabee, right?" I asked. He grinned. "Yup."
