introverte and I now own an elliptical trainer. Turns out I'm in as bad shape as I thought. Saturday night was my first attempt; I lasted about eight minutes. Last night I paced myself a bit better and lasted 20 minutes, although that was only one mile at the second-easiest level.
But it's a start. And having it right there near the bed, staring at me, means that I have a decent shot at keeping at it, as opposed to all the other times I've tried to add an exercise regimen to my life, when I've not had time to get to the JCC or go for an afternoon power walk around the Longfellow/Museum of Science loop. I might even join
rawr_comm for the motivation.
But it's a start.
