Jul. 14th, 2006 03:29 pmAm I confused? 24D appears to be DOGGONED for "Blamed" and I'm not sure I can make that connection in one hop. I mean, sure, "blamed" and "damned" could connect as past imperfect verbs, and "damned" and "doggoned" would connect as past participles. But I can't come up with a sentence in which "blamed" and "doggoned" can replace one another. What am I missing?

Date: 2006-07-15 05:07 pm (UTC)Andrew, I don't see an e-mail address for you, so I'll let you know here that Crossword Fiend (http://crosswordfiend.blogspot.com/) is two days into the new shtick of hiding all the spoilers behind a cut. I think you once said you don't read it because you're not always caught up with the crosswords, and you weren't the only one, so I encourage you to swing on by when you're caught up through this past Thursday.
