Tani (my 5+3/4-year-old son) says SIRC-lee-ur for "circular" and par-TIK-lee-ur for "particular". Somehow I feel that this conserves parity in the universe.

And Alissa (my 3+1/2-year-old daughter) wrote her name for the first time this morning. Her esses need work :-)

I don't think it's Hebrew-influenced; I think it's just natural 3.5-year-old's backwards writing.

actually, is she writing left-handed? it would make sense. i don't know how i originally wrote, but i taught myself backwards cursive in 7th grade, and found it really easy to do; it's as natural as writing left-to-right is if you're right-handed.
