I create separate email addresses for each company with which I do business. I just received one of those "postcard" virus spam messages sent to the address that I use for Borders Books. Since I never expose that address except to the nice folks behind the register at Borders, one must deduce that the Borders database of customer email addresses (at least) has been compromised.

I have sent an email message to Borders reporting this. I will post updates as I learn more.

(ETA: Just got a second one at 1:10pm. Getting ready to deep-six the address. Pity.)
